Karl and Alice Bauer, née Klein lived with their children Alois and Gerda in Gänsbacherstrasse 4. He was co-owner
of the department store "Bauer and Schwarz", todays "Kaufhaus
Tyrol". He was assaulted in his apartment, seriously injured and
taken to the hospital during the morning hours.
He survived for 20 years
after this, all the time suffering from his injuries. (II)

At number five Dr. Wilhelm Bauer and his wife Edith, née Hohenberg lived
together with their two children Thomas and Eva. Engineer Richard and Margarethe Graubart and their four and a half year-old daughter Vera Evelyne also lived there. In the night from 9 November to
10 November Wilhelm Bauer and Richard Graubart were stabbed
to death.
A few days after the attack Edith Bauer and her children Thomas and Eva fled to Canada, where Eva still lives

Flora Bauer, Wilhelm's mother, lived with her second son Stefan at 40
Andreas Hofer Strasse where she was attacked and injured that night.
Alfred Graubart brother of Richard Graubart, and his wife Maria were attacked at Haydnplatz 8.
The
Aryanized flat of the Graubart family was given to the mayor of
Innsbruck, the former Landeshauptmann and Gauleiter of the NSDAP Tyrol Edmund Christoph. (I)

"Most interesting site. Me myself is the granddaughter of Edith Hohenbergs brother Egon from Vienna. I´ve pictures of Wilhelm "Willy" Bauer and their children. I´m willing to share these if someone is interested."
